Continuous improvement is at the heart of NAVTOR's e-Navigation ecosystem. The latest releases of NavFleet 2.7, NavFleet App 4.3, and NavTV introduce new functionality designed to strengthen collaboration between ship and shore, improve operational oversight, and make fleet management even more efficient.
From centralised management of Passage Plan settings to worldwide Search and Rescue (SAR) information and improved mobile performance, this release delivers practical enhancements that support safer and more connected fleet operations.
Passage Plan Settings: Bringing Voyage Safety Management Ashore
One of the most significant additions in NavFleet 2.7 is the introduction of Passage Plan Settings management, enabling shore teams to configure and distribute voyage planning settings directly to vessels.
By bringing safety management closer to shore, companies can ensure greater consistency across their fleet while maintaining confidence that vessels are operating within approved company standards.
Available for Passage Plan version 5 and newer, the functionality strengthens the connection between NavStation onboard and NavFleet ashore, delivering improved governance, operational control, and standardisation across the fleet.
Key capabilities include:
Configure Passage Plan settings centrally in NavFleet and distribute them directly to vessels.
Create and maintain multiple setting profiles for different vessel types or operational requirements.
User permission control for editing and managing settings.
Hard validation of all settings to ensure configuration integrity before distribution.
Improved Passage Management Experience
The release also includes several workflow improvements that simplify passage monitoring and management:
Unified passage overview covering Active, Completed and Abandoned passages.
Clear navigation and status labelling across all voyage states.
Improved user actions for activating, downloading and viewing passage details.
Permission-based controls for key passage actions.
A redesigned passage editing interface that brings related actions together in a single location.
Search and Rescue (SAR) Information
NavFleet 2.7 introduces a comprehensive global overview of Search and Rescue (SAR) centres, providing crews and shore personnel with faster access to critical emergency contact information.
New SAR functionality includes:
Worldwide coverage of SAR centres.
Contact details including telephone numbers and email addresses where available.
Visual display of SAR jurisdiction areas directly on the map.
Optional boundary overlays that can be switched on and off.
Interactive map functionality showing detailed contact information when selecting a SAR centre.
To further improve situational awareness, a new widget in Vessel Overview now automatically displays the closest SAR contact for the selected vessel.
This provides immediate access to relevant emergency response information whenever needed.
Additional Improvements Across NavFleet
Alongside the major new features, this release includes a range of enhancements designed to improve everyday usability and efficiency, including:
Continued user interface and user experience improvements.
Better responsiveness throughout the platform.
Updates to the Port List.
Enhancements to Compliance Reports.
Improvements to comments and collaboration workflows.
Updated document handling.

NavFleet App 4.3: Your Fleet in Your Pocket
The latest NavFleet App release continues to make fleet management more accessible wherever you are.
With the NavFleet App, users can monitor vessel movements, access fleet information, manage chart ordering activities and stay informed about weather conditions directly from a mobile device.
Version 4.3 focuses on improving performance, security and reliability while further strengthening the connection between NavFleet and the mobile experience.
Highlights include:
Performance optimisations for a smoother user experience.
Single Sign-On and Security enhancements.
Improved integration and synergy with NavFleet.

NavTV: Real-Time Fleet Awareness
Did you know that every NavFleet subscription also includes access to NavTV?
NavTV provides shore-based teams with a real-time visual overview of fleet activity, displaying vessel positions, speed, course, destination and estimated arrival times through NAVTOR's integrated e-Navigation ecosystem.
This enables teams ashore to maintain situational awareness and support more efficient fleet planning and decision-making.
The latest NavTV release introduces further improvements to performance, usability and the overall viewing experience.
