We are now recruiting:
Business Development Manager, West Japan We are now recruiting a Business Development Manager with a special focus on developing western Japan market by managing comprehensive commercial activities to existing customers and prospects in maritime industry. The recruit will be expected to be a good spokesperson for the NAVTOR service and product portfolio. The position is at home base in West Japan area and reports to the General Manager Japan.
Responsible all commercial activities for business development within a defined sales area in Japan
Key Account management, maintain and grow existing accounts
Prospecting new clients by various channels including but not limited to cold calling, existing network
Technical advice and support for the installation of products to the vessels.
Regular reporting to General Manager Japan
More than 7 years experiences in sales or related commercial task
Able to work at home base in West Japan area (Kansai, Chugoku, Shikoku or Kitakyushu) and manage frequent travel within these area and to headquarters in Yokohama
Independent person that takes initiative in assigned roles by him/herself, but also works well with a team (interdependent)
Sociality with high interpersonal skills to deal with various market prospects
Fluency in English and Japanese languages
Personal skills and backgrounds We welcome candidates with the following profile:
Hold a Bachelor degree and above, or study experience at maritime college or equivalent
Management or team leading experience
Work experience in shipping, ship machinery, digital chart distribution or related industries.
Technical sales or support experience, or some knowledges of Windows client operating systems and general network (TCP/IP) structure
