Data scientist
Do you have extensive experience in data analytics and cognitive computing, or do you have a burning interest for exploring opportunities in analysis of data in the maritime industry in a company with cutting edge technology and a global impact? 

We are now recruiting for several positions within our development & technology department. As a data scientist, you will be working with our Azure-based data collection, processing and analytics systems. You will be integral in building NAVTORs AI
models and supporting product managers, customers and stakeholders in interpreting insights from our vast pool of maritime data.

In NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with passionate interest in software design and maritime data analytics.

Qualifications 
• Personal passion for data analytics and cognitive computing 
• Actively strive to learn new things and share knowledge with colleges 
• Experience with SQL/NOSQL databases and Azure analytics services 
• Experience with cognitive computing and AI software design 
• Good understanding of machine learning and statistical learning theory concepts 
• Dedicated adherence to project goals and deadlines 
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment as part of a team and independently 
• Completed relevant higher degree education (BSc, MSc, Ph.d) 
• Great communication skills in relaying results of complex analysis to non-technical recipients 
• Interested in exploring opportunities presented by new technologies and customer requirements
