We are now recruiting for a position within our development department. As an edge systems developer, you will be working with our NavBox information distribution and collection infrastructure. The systems include edge device software, satellite-based communication infrastructure and a cloud based back-end.
 
As a software developer in NAVTOR, you will be joining an international team of highly talented people with a passionate interest in software design.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Architectural design for NAVTORs edge infrastructure
​• Software development as part of a SCRUM team following agreed work backlogs
​• Research into new technologies that might benefit NAVTORs customers
​• Participation on technical conferences, seminars and training sessions​
• Participate in continuous process redesign to build a high performing culture 

Qualifications 
• Personal passion for software design and development
​• Curious about technology and a fast learner
​• Excellent organizational and structural skills
​• Knowledge of experience with programming in C#, .net Core/5
​• Experience with remote edge deployment and autonomous head-less devices
​• Experience with API based systems integration
​• Experience with Docker and Linux application development is a plus
​• Experience with NOSQL and signal processing is a plus
​• Well traversed in SCRUM and DevOps based workflows
​• Dedicated adherence to project goals and deadlines
​• Ability to work well in a fast pace environment and as part of a team
​• Strong attention to detail and accuracy 

Education
• Relevant education at university level or equivalent
