Our Service to our Clients (businesses)

Client Relationships

Each client is assigned a consultant who will visit the company to gain a full understanding of the requirements of that particular business and the experience/skills and personality for potential new employees. These very important meetings form the foundation on which strong professional relationships are built and maintained to a high standard.

Selection Process

  • Comprehensive interviewing ensures that you only receive candidates who are right for you in every way; right for the job, a match to your vacancy and right for the company. We focus on their personality/attitude as well as their work skills, qualifications and experience.
  • We use the latest testing software on the market, in addition to the traditional interview, where appropriate. The software identifies a clear understanding of all the Microsoft Products, as well as secretarial and data entry skills testing.
  • A detailed and comprehensive CV is produced for each candidate to enable the Client to match against the appropriate job description and person specification.

Reference Checks

References are taken on all temporary staff working for Excel Recruitment to confirm skills, experience, reliability and honesty.

Our Service to our Candidates (individuals)

Candidate Relationships

The relationship begins from the moment you make an appointment, through the interview stage and will continue through the job search process. We will guide you, act as a 'sounding board' and give advice at every stage, to ensure you make the right choice for your future.

Selection Process

  • A qualified consultant will interview you to determine your 'ideal job' and discuss your previous experience. This interview is comprehensive and will act as formal practice for the next stage, which will take place with a potential employer.
  • Where appropriate, you will be skills tested by our 'user friendly' up-to-date testing software. 'Don't let this put you off, this is for your benefit too and you will be assisted where necessary and will not be interrupted during the test.'
  • We produce a CV on your behalf, which contains both the hard facts (your qualifications and previous experience) and your future expectations and requirements. CVs are produced on a 'no name' basis and that includes previous employers as well as your own name. Under no circumstances will your identity be divulged until the client wishes to arrange an interview, at which point you will be contacted. Confidentiality is guaranteed.
  • Your CV will only be forwarded to the specific jobs that match your requirements and expectations.

Our service to our 'temps':

  • We will place you quickly in a job that is right for you.
  • Our assignments can last anything from one day to several years, you take your choice.
  • We will pay you weekly for that week you have worked.
  • We guarantee you will feel 'part of the team' .
