NAVTOR Japan K.K. is seeking a new Business Development Manager
NAVTOR Japan K.K. is a subsidiary of NAVTOR AS, a company providing state of the art e-Navigational technology and services to the commercial shipping sector.
Job Title: Business Development Manager/Sales
Main Duties: • Responsible for all activities for business development within a defined sales area in Japan. • Key Account management, maintain & grow existing accounts. • Prospecting new clients by various channels including but not limited to cold calling, existing network. • Technical advice and support for the installation of products to the vessels. • Regular reporting to Country manager. • Business travel required.
Qualifications: • Minimum 7 years experience -within a full time role. • Ability to work independently. • Ability to communication fluently in Japanese & English (verbally & written). • Experience with shipboard Navigational or communication equipment is highly advantageous. • Actual Navigational experience as a Master or Navigation officer is highly advantageous.
